Leo human nature.
The Brinner
There was a time when the year-end Brinner Dinner was a black-tie affair. But now we put a lot more flitter in our glam. Each Brinner is themed and you’re free to come as you are, or aren’t.
The RCYC
There’s this myth that ad people are flighty. Not us Burnetters. This year, over 60 of us have 5 years + bragging rights. And each August, we dress proper and hop a private ferry to the August Royal Canadian Yacht Club for the celebratory lunch and service awards.
The Charity Auction
Every year, we have an employee charity drive, with events like bake sales, potluck lunches, beer pong and silent/live auctions. We open our wallets and hearts in support of great causes, including NABS and The Leo Burnett Black Pencil Project which will supports people from the BIPOC community through post-secondary school. Through Covid, we had to pivot—but not even COVID could dampen our spirit of giving back.
Leo Values
- To create beautiful ideas that have the power to transform human behaviour, we have to work like humans. We live and work together through a commonly held set of values that help us all get along, support one another, and reach for the stars.
- 01.Never. Give. Up.Quit, we have none. Solutions, we find them. We rally the team in times it might be easier to give in. “No” gets us nowhere.
- 02.Please, no assholes.Respect others. Respect our space. It’s really that simple.
- 03.Be open to new.We aren’t followers. We aren’t set in our ways. We aim to create trends, discover new methods, and shake up “How it’s always been done.”
- 04.Create! Don't criticize.Creativity needs believers. We are here to turn Good into Great. We don’t look for faults, we find diamonds.
- 05.Look out for one another.Listen. Be selfless. Lend your hand. Prop people up.
